With the new iPad selling millions within the first week, people are getting very excited to try out new videos and apps for the Retina display in HD. The display of the new iPad is 2048 x 1536, which is more than your own 50" HDTV at home, and what better way to take advantage of that then watching movies in HD.

Netflix has been converting movies in their library to HD formatting for some time now over the past year. They have now released version 2.1.1 to the iTunes App Store for the new iPad, which adds high resolution artwork for movies. Also included in the latest version are some tweaks for watching movies on an external device connected to the iPad and VoiceOver actions, along with bug fixes.

All of those additions are seen on the new iPad, but they have also slightly changed the way the main menu screen looks, making it faster to navigate through as well as easier on the eyes. have a look and hit the source link below to grab the app.
