Because the Timeline organizes everything neatly, users will also be able to browse a virtual library of friends' interests, album collections, favorite movies or television shows. Media streaming will be available from Netflix, Spotify, Blockbuster, Hulu, Vevo, DirectTV, and many others.
Social News -The new Facebook profiles will feature social news within the timeline that will feature the most popular news articles that friends and family are reading across the web. Social news apps will include Mashable, The Washington Post, Yahoo! News and more.
Social Games – Facebook has partnered with multiple social gaming networks to provide a more in-depth experience while playing games on Facebook. The sidebar ticker will display a detailed notfication and picture informing you of what your friends are doing while gaming.
Lifestyle Apps – An array of new lifestyle apps on Facebook will make it easy for users to share everyday activities and interests. Users can display their favorite recipes, artwork, their favorite hiking trails, outdoor activities and so much more. Each lifestyle app is designed to paint a more vivid picture of each user and his or her unique personality and interests.When Facebook first began rolling out new updates to its platform users were blatantly skeptical and outraged about the changes, citing difficult navigation. While it's true that it is human nature to resist change, the new Facebook profile is undoubtedly the most significant thing to happen to social networking in all of its existence. If anything, these upgrades further prove that the rise of social media is far from over. In fact, it's just getting started.
