New Features to be Included in Windows 8 Release Preview
Windows 8 is the successor of Windows 7 and a new kind of OS by Microsoft designed specifically for mobile devices such as tablets and hybrids as well as desktops PC’s. Windows 8 is Windows re-imagined as said by Windows Head of Microsoft, Steven Sinofsky.

The development of Windows 8 started in the end of 2010 and in September 2011, we saw the first ever public release of Windows 8, which was named as Windows Developer Preview and technically speaking the pre-beta release. On February 29 this year, we saw the launch of Windows 8 Consumer Preview which was the beta version of Windows 8 and it was said to carry almost all the complete features of final version of Windows 8.
But, now, the pre-release version of Windows 8 is just days away with reported launch date of June 1st. Being named as Windows 8 Release Preview and technically speaking the release candidate of Windows 8, this new version of Windows 8 is Microsoft's another step towards the final version of Windows 8
Windows 8 Release Preview is version which according to some rumors Microsoft would provide to its hardware partners which would then be installed in Windows 8 hardware devices mostly tablets.
Although, Windows 8 Consumer Preview was released with many new features but, still many new features have been added to Windows 8 Release Preview which weren’t included in Windows 8 Consumer Preview.
Let’s take a look at the known features which would be included in Windows 8 Release Preview.
• Shelf keeping Units (SKU): Windows 8 Release Preview would be launched in three different SKU's such as Windows 8 Release Preview, Windows 8 Release Preview Pro and Windows 8 Release Preview Enterprise. Windows 8 Release Preview would be for home users, Windows 8 Release Preview Pro for professional users which would include Windows to go, Hyper V management and many more and in the last, Windows 8 Release Preview Enterprise which would include features for Enterperises.
• Media Center: Windows 8 Release Preview would be launched without Media Center and users would have to upgrade in-order to get Media Center which of-course would be paid.
