The tech industry is one of the most competitive industries in the world. Just when people thought they have seen the most extra-ordinary achievement from big tech companies like Apple, Microsoft and Google, comes another unknown entity from out of nowhere, with a record-breaking feat, so it seems, in just a blink of an eye.

Ladies and gentlemen, let's all welcome, Raspberry Pi, the smallest and the cheapest pc on the planet!

This tiny pc wonder has all the features found on a regular-sized desktops including a High-Definition Multimedia Interface (HDMI) and Universal Serial Bus (USB) ports.

Other incredible specs include a microSD card slot, 1.4 ounce weight, a size of a credit card and 1080p High-Definition (HD) video.

In addition, it runs on a 700MHz ARM processor with either 128MB or 256MB of Random Access Memory (RAM). It runs on a Linux-based system.

It's said that the people behind this astonishing miniature device wants as many people as possible to have access to basic computing.

As for its price, well, you can buy the one that has 128MB of RAM for $25.00 and the 256MB of RAM for only $35.00.

The mini-pc marvel is supposedly due for sale in January 2012.
