There are exciting things happening for Research In Motion these days, and it turns out the new President and CEO Thorsten Heins feels the same way. He's taking the reigns on what many may be calling a sinking ship, but while others like myself are hoping this is the comeback year for RIM. At this years' CES, RIM showed us the new PlayBook 2.0 Operating System, and they have received many great comments for what is to come within the next short few weeks to PlayBook owners.

To add to the hype with the new President and CEO, Thorsten says in the video below that he is very keen on making sure that new releases are launched on time to ensure their customers are getting the best from RIM without feeling left out in the cold. Mr.Heins has worked at RIM for over 4 years, so he saw first hand what the postponement of PlayBook 2.0 with email, calendar and contacts can do to a product launch. He also saw the backlash when it was announced we wouldn't see a new BlackBerry 10 device until Fall 2012. he's got some work to do, but if he can walk the talk, it'll be a great year for RIM.
