At MWC 2012 in Barcelona, many smartphone fans were getting ready to see the next best thing in the Samsung Galaxy line, the Galaxy S III. Last year at MWC, Samsung revealed to the world the Galaxy S II, and it was met with rave reviews afterwards. This year marks the follow-up to the most successful smartphone Samsung has released to date with incredible specs to boot.

This years' MWC however will NOT be showing the Galaxy S III from Samsung, despite Samsung still having an appearance in Barcelona. The word on the street is that Samsung was a little too uncomfortable with the length of time between unveiling the new smartphone at MWC, to the dates it would be available in North America for consumers. In other words, the hype would be lost, and that can cost a company millions of dollars in lost revenue and promotional costs. Who knows, we'll likely still see this device sometime around mid-Spring 2012, packing its quad-core processor, 12 megapixel camera and 720p Super AMOLED Plus HD display.
