Twitter Explores Brand Advertising with Influence
Twitter does it again. Always the difference, Twitter's unique ability to be fast-moving, visually exhilarating, introspective to the observant contributor, begging a follower's enticed response with a flippant "I made you look" come on. It's the 140 on the news of the day which solicits attention from those with a keen eye to a quick retort. Twitter is the quick quip for brand punctuation allowing prospective marketing and advertising communities, larger brand communities, to promote their brands in relevant ways.
These aren't the typical, the usual, nor anything currently offered through other social platforms. Not simply brand pages, these are Promoted Accounts meant to be fast-moving and targeted. Not just pages to be 'liked' as a badge of sponsorship without reward to the brand other than an accepted appearance of style which may or may not be according to purchase history... Twitter offers Enhanced Profiles for community observation. Twitter offers Promoted Trends for active participation and invested guidance of relevant information.
There are a number of ways for a brand to participate and engage with active, watchful communities which allow the acknowledgment of organized concurrence through retweet and answer. Brand pages on other social media platforms are not about the brand, but about branding. Twitter's distinction offers a mix of solutions to be manipulated for the brand experience.
These are targeted tweets meant to engage those active users according to the brand's message, and the user's use. Specific and very strategic.
Promoted trends are not currently available to the proliferate, they are in Beta. Promoted trends will be effective for keeping a brand in mind. If the community a brand speaks to on any given subject is on Twitter and engaged, Promoted Trends will be a constant reminder and specific to the strategy of the moment.
