Checking the weather is now a puppy party and I'm having too much fun. In most cases, catching the weather report in San Francisco is the most depressing thing--cloudy with a 90 percent chance of fog. But thanks to Weather Puppy, a weather app for iOS that was released on Sunday, my cloudy forecast is accompanied by the cutest, most photogenic pups.
Weather puppy updates your weather report based on location along with a puppy whose theme changes based on the weather and time. A sunny day calls for a cute yorkie in shades while a cold night gives you a yellow labrador tucked under his blankie. I know, my heart melts every time.
What's even more heartwarming about the app is that Weather Puppy has partnered with several different charities and pet shelters across the country. The app supports charities like Paws4You Animal Rescue in Miami and The Anti-Cruelty Society in Chicago, enabling these organizations to fundraise using the app.
