A lot of people are fascinated by technology and the marvels and advances that goes along with it. It is not uncommon for many people nowadays to look into technology as their preferred choice of career over the other careers out there in the workplace. Maybe you dream of someday working for your favorite tech company like Apple, perhaps? Good luck to you.

According to a news report, at a recent LinkedIn event, author Adam Lashinsky was promoting a book titled, Inside Apple: How America's Most Admired and Secretive Company Really Works.

In that event, Mr. Lashinsky confirms that people are hired in "dummy positions" because even though you've been interviewed already, they still don't know if you're trustworthy.

In that same event, an ex-Apple employee who worked at Apple for 6 years stood up and talked about Apple's "homogenous" work culture and disclosed that his engineer friend worked on fake products on the first part of his career and interviewed for nine months.

I decided to write about this article not to disrespect Apple in any ways or discourage anybody from applying to a position at Apple. You heard it. The video says it all.

I am actually a big fan of Apple, always has been and always will be. It's just a little bit shocking for me hearing the remarks of these two men on how it is to work for Apple.

Now whether this whole thing is just for a book publicity or something else, I am not sure, really. As you watch the video and hear the audio, I'll let you people decide. It's your call.
