Windows 7 SP1 Leaked

Like sands through the hourglass, so are the leaks of operating systems and their updates.

The latest leak to hit torrent sites is Service Pack 1 (SP1) for Windows 7. Microsoft has already hipped us to what some of the changes will be: dynamic memory support, upgrades to the Remote Desktop client, the usual bug fixes, etc. But now, if you're willing to grab a leaked version and install it on your computer, you'll be able to confirm or deny each rumor.

GeekSmack has already published screenshots of the installation running on, one assumes, a non-critical office computer. According to them, the build was dated March 27, and the installation was much faster than Vista Service Pack installations.

No word though on any mind-blowing changes, though even if there are, I'm going to be patient on this one: it's just not the smartest idea to install an operating system update that you grabbed from a Torrent site. Kinda like buying a dialysis machine from some guy named Big Mike.
