Windows 8 Coming in October
Confirmed by Microsoft's Steven Sinofsky, Windows 8 will be released to the general public on October, 26th. Some comments on the article from The Window's blog are from users happy to spend its opening weekend poking around the new OS.
Microsoft reports that the more they talk about Windows 8, the more they hear about their portable OS system. As described on Venture Beat Micosoft's Surface Tablet popularity is continuously increasing, helping boost and anticipate Window's 8 arrival.
It's important to remember: Windows 8 is built very differently from any other previous version. The most recognizable difference: the start button will be missing. However, it is Microsoft's strategy to present their new operating system into a much more evolved "post-PC" era.
