Boxed and Ready To Go, Rackspace Cloud Integrates Standard Congruity
Announced yesterday, Rackspace partners with cloud design and customization experts from Redmond, WA-based, Redapt, to compile the efficient cloud solution, with no unnecessary additives. Says Jim Curry, Rackspace general manager, “The combination of Redapt and Rackspace enables a customer to have a fully packaged private cloud off the shelf and operationally managed and supported by OpenStack experts – anywhere they choose.”
Private cloud goes stress-free.
The undeniable benefit is that this product is fully operational and most efficient. Calling this "in the box" could be a bit of a misdeed... while the attributes of cloud participation technically require technicalities, etc., what you get with the Rackspace managed "Cloud in a Box" is not a solution, but an answer. While other resources for cloud services will design in order to invest compatibility, Rackpace's boxed cloud offers everything you need, and nothing you don't.
Company executives emphasize the use of standard hardware, as being all that is required to deploy a private cloud anywhere one chooses with this solution. Rackspace and Redapt, together, create high-level design and compatibility for instant integration and functionality with managed support.
Rackspace Cloud: Private Edition will be received within 14 days of order placement through Rackspace, and requires only a customer's power and network connectivity for setup.
“Redapt will configure it…and Rackspace will take over the operation of the cloud and make certain it’s fully managed,” promises Scott Sanchez, Rackspace director of business development. In addition to providing hardware, Rackspace provides 24-hour support and operations assistance.
With Rackspace, Cloud in a Box is in the bag.
