Apple iPad 3 Will Be In Stores March 16th
According to a new report from 9to5mac, a source within one of the Apple stores has mentioned that Apple is planning a big Apple store event on Friday, March 16th, 2012. The source has proved to be reliable from past details as well, so the information is being trusted.
A couple of weeks ago, we had heard that a new Apple store was going to have a grand opening within the popular Harrods building in London. It was initially thought that the store opening there would coincide with the Apple iPad 3 launch. All sources for that rumor made known that the store would be ready to open sometime around middle to the end of March 2012. Last year for the iPad 2 launch, Apple opened a temporary store to help distribute the newly available iPad 2. It is expected that Apple will do the same this year with the new store in London.
Adding to the rumor mill for launches, Verizon has just started their own marketing campaign which states that "Something Is Coming. Be among the first to hear the news." on their website. Could this be another sign that Verizon will be selling the 4G/LTE versions of the iPad 3 starting next week as well? We'll find out everything at Wednesday's event in San Francisco.
