Apple Releases MacBook Pro, Wireless Base Station Firmware and Digital Camera Raw Updates!
Apple on Thursday released 3 different updates to address some issues relating to MacBook Pro, Wireless Base Stations & Digital Camera Raw. MacBook Pro users recently have been seeing unexpected shut downs of their systems. These shut downs are either happening when the computer is under heavy processing load and when the machine is plugged in to power outlet when the battery is very low.
It is advised to connect your MacBook Pro with a power outlet and have an at least 25% charged battery before you apply this update. This update can be applied by the owners of models 8.1, 8.2 & 8.3 which includes both early 2011 and late 2011 models. Furthermore the update requires Mac OS X 10.6.0 or OS X 10.7.2. The update can be downloaded from the Apple's Support Website.
