Apple Unveils Smaller, Faster Touchscreen iPod Nano
Apple revealed the 6th generation iPod Nano today, and it has been redesigned big time.
The clickwheel is gone, and is replaced by a touchscreen. The camera the old Nano used to have has also been removed. The shape has also been changed, now a square rather than a rectangle.
Its size is 46% smaller than the previous Nano and it is also 42% lighter. Like the iPhone, it will have hard volume buttons on the side, and a clip on the back providing minimal hardware to go with the touch screen, while the inside has enough battery power to play 10 hours of music.
There will be 7 colors available, with prices at $149 for 8GB of space and $179 for 16GB of space. Pre-orders will begin today.
