Disney To Use iPads For Fast Pass At The Magic Kingdom

Disney is rumored to use the iPad for their newest Disney project dubbed as the FastPass Park System.
According to a report, Apple and Disney talks is now underway regarding the use of iPads by Disney Parks employees for their next-gen FastPark system.
The new FastPass system using the iPads will allow all Disneyworld and Disneyland guests to receive their passes faster and more efficiently and avoid long lines for their most popular attractions.
Disney Parks visitors would be given Radio Frequency Identification (RFID) wrist bands that they will scan at the entrance of every park attractions. These informations would then be sent to an assigned Disney employee in a particular park attraction who is equipped with an iPad.
All iPads being used by Disney employees inside all Disney Parks attractions is supposed to light up green if a visitor passes the new FastPark System checks. However, a blue light signal means guests will be directed to one of the park's kiosks to check on their reservation information status.
The new iPad-based FastPass ticketing system is buzzed as being tested now with selected park guests. The new system would make use of both the iPad and RFID technology to let park guests and visitors pre-book park attractions and ride passes before their actual visit to any Disney Parks.
