A lot of buzz and rumors have circulated in the past surrounding the release of the Asus' mythical gadget, the Asus Padfone.
According to a report, the Padfone just got officially announced at the MWC 2012 in Barcelona.

"Asus just officially announced their new and upcoming flagship Android handset, the Asus Padfone, at the MWC 2012 in Barcelona.
Features of the Asus Padfone includes Android Ice Cream Sandwich, Qualcomm MSM 8960 Snapdragon S4 Krait 1.5GHz dual-core, Adreno 225 GPU, 16GB up to 64GB internal storage and 1GB of RAM.
Additional specs of the Padfone includes a 4.3" Super AMOLED display with 540 x 960 pixels, an 8-megapixel autofocus camera, Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n, Bluetooth 4.0, HSPA+ 42Mbps, GPS with aGPS support, a 1520mAh Li-Ion battery and it measures 9.2mm thin. It also comes with a 10.1-inch tablet.
