GooPhone Introduces A $99 Mini iPad Clone

China does it again with another attack of the tablet clone. Introducing GooPad Mini, GooPhone's answer to the iPad Mini that was announced by the company.
The GooPad Mini is an Android-inspired tablet that run the latest Android operating system Jelly Bean. Additional features include a 1.4GHz dual-core processor that's partnered with 8GB of internal memory and 1GB of RAM.
Plus, the device has a 7.9-inch touchscreen display with a resolution of 1,025 x 768 pixels. It also has dual-cameras, and Wi-Fi connectivity.
To make it look like a legitimate Apple product, its maker GooPhone slapped the device with an iOS-like launcher, which makes its interface very similar to the one on the iPad Mini. Very clever, huh.
The said tablet will retail for only $99.00 in China. No word yet if this slate will also see the light of day in other parts of the world. Tim Cook and company, watch out!
