iPhone 5 shape leaked out by Case-Mate webpage, now taken down!
Looks like Case-Mate just leaked out what the iPhone 5 body style is going to look like when they accidentally, and I say accidentally because the webpage where these images were taken is now down and replaced by a landing page. The original webpage had a bunch of images of their new line of iPhone 5 cases, which clearly show a more 'rounded' edge to them, along with a tapered backing similar to the iPad2 and iPod Touch.
We don't know if these are actually rendered images from Case-Mate based on hardware specs from Apple for the iPhone 5 launch, but it is common for manufacturers to give accessory manufacturers a little heads up on what the new devices will look like so they can launch and stock shelves same time as the device.
The iPhone 5 is expected to be announced within the next couple of weeks, so for now, we could just have a look at these as the latest in the 'iPhone 5 Rumor Mill', and wait to see what actually happens. The fact Case-Mate pulled the page down right after it was found publicly suggests something more is at large here than just another rumor.
