Kodak Zi8 Review

Earlier this year, Kodak did a brilliant campaign on Twitter to harvest brand names for their new point-and-shoot HD video camera. The contest was simple; all folks had to do was provide a bunch of suggested names to Kodak via Twitter using the hashtag #NameAKodak.

I provided 50+ names and one of them was selected. As a result, I am now the proud owner of a Kodak Zi8.

While the Zi8 is a great little camera that produces great results, the name just didn't vibe well with the blogosphere. What better way to get people jazzed about a new product by letting them name the new one AND give out free stuff?

With a free camera, I felt compelled to put it through the ringer. As a result, here is my review of the Kodak Zi8.
