Logitech has launched solar powered keyboard case for iPad tablets

Logitech has released a truly environmentally friendly case with keyboard for iPad tablets - the Solar Keyboard Folio with Bluetooth Keyboard, powered by ambient light.
According to Logitech, once the keyboard is charged with the help of any light, whether indoor or outdoor, users can type an average two hours per day for over two years - even when they are in complete darkness, without further charging.
The case is black, soft in touch and leather embossed, with a Logitech logo. It has a perforation for the iPad's speakers and a portal for the camera. The keyboard on the case is made of gray plastic. The Folio has two stand positions, so that users can adjust it to the viewing angle of their choice. The Folio comes with an automatic ON/OFF option, so that the iPad wakes automatically on opening the folio and returning to standby position upon closing the case.
"Now that people are seemingly inseparable from their tablets, using them for everything from sending emails to watching videos, they want accessories powered to meet their needs," said Alexis Richard, director of product marketing at Logitech. "The Logitech Solar Keyboard Folio is a smart partner for your iPad. Its sleek built-in keyboard uses light to charge and it provides hassle-free protection for your iPad – both for the front and back. It gives you an ideal way to use and protect your tablet without adding bulk."
This Solar Keyboard Folio is available at $130.
