New iPad Ship Times Shortened to 3-5 Days
Apple's new iPad still sells like hotcakes even if it's nearly 2 months since the device's initial launch. The demand for it still remains so high that consumers have to wait a minimum of 7-14 days after they placed the order at Apple or any of their authorized resellers. But wait. There's good news for you, folks!
According to a report, the ship times for the new iPad after you placed an order has now been significantly reduced to only 3-5 days.
The new iPad is, without a doubt, a big hit for Apple and many consumers alike; however, it seems that the craze for the "wonder" tablet has steamed down a little bit, as evidenced by the increasing supply and the new shipping times for the device.
This new development is truly welcome news for iPad buyers in the United States. For buyers outside of the US, the shipping times remains unchanged, as they still have to wait for at least 1-2 weeks before they can get ahold of the device.
Good news aside, Walmart, Target and Best Buy, who also sell the new iPad in their brick and mortar stores, may also experience lag times as far as their own supply and own shipping is concerned.
It usually takes many months for any highly sought-after device like the new iPad for the demand to slowly dip down, but like any other gadgets, the supply levels for it will surely go back to normal after a long while.
