With the Consumer Electronics Show (CES) underway, we are now being shown some of the technology to come in 2010 and beyond. However, not all of the technology is holding up to the impressive claims being made.

Reporter Dan Simmons from the BBC show Click has managed to break a phone that was being marketed as "unbreakable". The video has now gone viral meaning a lot of embarrassment ahead for the phone company Sonim.

After a few measly attempts of smashing the phone on the side of the fish tank, which was being used to show the phones waterproof capabilities, the screen finally decided to give up.

The offer standing was that anyone who did manage to break the phone would get the phone completely free. It is still unclear whether the presenter earned his free phone.
