What Your Typical Apple iPad Buyers Look Like (Infographic)

What does your average joe Apple iPad consumer look like? We could all guess, as we imagine our own nerdy selves holding the most popular tablet device on the planet. Yes, I'm picturing myself right now, as I did buy an Apple iPad 2 recently (then returned it, I'll explain another day).
Bluekai,a data mining and target advertising company, has put together a nice little infographic to let us in on what our generation of iPad buyers actually look like, if they have pets, and how much money they have. Bluekai mined and collected data from places such as ComScore and Neilsen, both of which continually put out mobile market statistics and metrics.
The following infographic shows us that the typical Apple iPad buyers/owners are mostly male gender, video gamers and own pets. Those groups are seen as "Highly Likely To Buy", where we also see Business Travellers and healthcare workers are considered "Very Likely To Buy". At the bottom of the pile, categorized as simply "Likely To Buy" are married couples and college grads. I'll go a step further and say that's likely because of the financial situation of those groups, but that is of course just my opinion.
A couple more interesting facts about tablets and iPads are;
ComScore data suggests that 45.9% of tablet owners earn more than $100,000 per household/year.
Neilsen data shows that 70% of all iPad use is in front of the users TV set.
