An Anonymous member calling himself AnonymousOwn3r has claimed responsibility for taking down GoDaddy.com--and all websites, domain names and email addresses hosted by GoDaddy. Queries to GoDaddy.com itself and other websites hosted by GoDaddy such as buuteeq.com and couponpuppet.com were unresponsive.

At around 10:20 PST this morning, websites hosted on GoDaddy started to report website outages. GoDaddy responded at 1:04pm PST, claiming that some service has been restored, but as of this writing they have not recovered completely.

AnonymousOwn3r claims that his actions were a test of GoDaddy's security measures, and that he has no anti-GoDaddy intentions.
