Apple has released two updates today to address vulnerabilities in multiple applications. The biggie is an updated OS X, now to version 10.6.4, though pre-Snow Leopard versions get updates as well via Security Update 2010-004.

Apple is addressing vulnerabilities in quite a few areas, among them CUPS, Desktop Services, Flash Player plug-in, Folder Manager, Help Viewer, Printing, Network Authorization, and Open Directory.

The impacts of the vulnerabilities range from local users being able to gain system privileges, to arbitrary code execution after visiting malicious websites.

All users are advised to upgrade via Software Update. Additional details are available on the Apple website.
