Last week, the "official" Youtube blog announced that they are expanding their existing channel lineup to include content by more recognizable people and producers from TV, movies, music, news, and the sports entertainment genre.
The blog piece went on to state that some of it's own existing partners would
have their own channels with something for everyone.

This move is sure to increase website traffic and time spent on Youtube sites. It appears their goal is to broaden the range of content that they currently offer and of course provide a way for it's advertisers to reach a broader audience as well.

This new programming is foretasted to begin in the November, December time frame and be rolled out over the next year.  Look to this web video and traffic giant to continue to grow and begin to dominate more markets worldwide.

When I previewed the list of channels that were slated to come out by the Google owned video dynamo I was pleasantly surprised to see an all Hispanic channel,

Car and Driver Television, a Pets and Animals channel, Soccer, Music, Science, and of course news, believe me there is something for everyone to come.

As I mentioned this is sure to bring more traffic and viewers to the already
popular video revolution. One thing that was stressed was that individual owners
of their own channels would not have to worry about competing with the new channel set up for all of the above mentioned genres, whew - that is good news.

My pops always said, "if it isn't broke, don't fix it son!"
