Mozilla Releases Another Firefox Update
A few days ago, Mozilla released a fairly major update to Firefox 3.6 that patched some security holes and introduced plugin crash protection for Flash, Quicktime and Silverlight.
Over the weekend, they tweaked that release to increase the amount of time that those plugins can be non-responsive before the processes get terminated. It's good to see they're on their game, and getting updates out this quickly.
The Firefox update to version 3.6.6 is being released for all major platforms (that'd be mac, Windows and Linux) and you can down load it via the update menu, or visit the Mozilla 3.6 release notes page for direct download links.
Mozilla also reiterated that all Firefox 3.4 and 3.5 users update to 3.6 immediately.
