CBS News has released video taken by a group of BASE jumpers who took turns recording themselves leaping off the Kuala Lumpur Tower in Malaysia.

Kuala Lumpur is a popular destination for the thrilling past-time. Almost 100 experienced BASE (Bridges, Antennae, Spans and Earth) jumpers gather annually to get some air time off of the 1,380 foot tall tower.

Jumpers gather in Kuala Lumpur from around the world to participate in the annual event, called the International Tower Jump, organized by Aziz Ahmad, who first obtained jump permission in 1999 from Malaysian authorities.

According to The Sun, participating jumpers must have at least 100 BASE jumps under their airborne belts, with at least a dozen jumps in the last year. I suppose the event doesn't want mistakes to cause a halt to the annual event.
