Dad, Daughter Dress as Aliens Power Loader for Halloween
Some people spend some time thinking about their costume on Halloween. And then there's Jason Smith, who created this incredible Aliens-inspired Power Loader ensemble, showcasing not only his creativity by his beautiful baby girl, front and center.
"I love Halloween, and I wanted to create a costume that my daughter and I could share," said Smith, who wore the costume just the other night, and added that his baby girl "was amazingly content the whole night, and enjoyed looking at everybody else's costumes".
The costume was built over two nights and a day, and was made simply, "out of cardboard boxes and hot glue". The boots and costume pop off rapidly, in case baby needs a diaper change. There are also large openings under the giant claws, in order to check on the little one throughout the night.
Unbelievably, the entire costume weighs only ten pounds, including the plastic roll cage and seat. Not bad for something that will certainly draw crowds around them tonight as they attempt to walk down the street.
"The internet has been amazingly kind and positive about this outfit," said Smith, who thanked everyone for the comments he's received on his YouTube channel.
