Danny Woodhead Poses as Modell's Employee and Gets the Heisman
Being a professional athlete must have its privileges. Regardless if you're a Hall of Famer or just a guy who's second or third string, you're pulling in some decent coin and you have pretty much anything you want at your disposal.
Take Danny Woodhead for example. The Patriots running back was a cast off from the New York Jets (actually, the team couldn't keep him due to some roster moves). The Patriots picked up him up off the waiver wire the week before they were to play the Jets.
Well, if you've been following the team, you know how this pick-up worked out for the Patriots.
So, what would happen if you stuck Woodhead in a Modell's sporting good store, dressed up as an employee and had him peddling Woodhead jersey's to customers?
Just think Heisman, i.e. stiff arm and a no-go.
Talk about a guy who has all the popularity in the world on the field, but has zippo off.
