Das Racist Go 8-Bit in New Video
Usually when you're talking about "old school" in conjunction with hip-hop, you're taking Afrika Bambaataa, The Sugarhill Gang, Grandmaster Flash and the Furious Five, et cetera. But when Das Racist go old school? Now you're talking some next-level NES-style shit.
Yeah, I know I said we could do away with the whole retro video game nostalgia after Mareike Ottrand's amazing history of creation video, but the sheer authenticity of Das Racist's "Who's That? Brooown!" video takes it to another plane entirely.
Besides, who doesn't want to see a pixelated Sarah Palin in an American flag bikini? Yeah, that's what I thought.
