Erykah Badu Strips at JFK Assassination Site
Getting attention in today's flooded entertainment world is very hard to do. It takes brashness, guts, and, at times, stupidity.
Whether you think it's brashness, guts, or stupidity, one thing is for sure: Erykah Badu's new video is grabbing headlines.
The hook? The singer strolls towards the spot where JFK was assassinated in Dallas, Texas and, during her stroll, strips down to her birthday suit.
The video was shot for Badu's new album, "New Amerykah Part Two: Return of the Ankh" and was done without a crew and completed in one take on March 17, according to her Twitter.
Apparently, Badu was harassed during her booty stroll but kept strutting along until the shoot was done (as you can see in the video, there were kids along the route).
Badu said the point of the video was to she speak out against "groupthink," a psychological term referring to a group of people who sacrifice individuality in order to embrace collective thought and avoid conflict.
