We flew from Ha’apai to Tongatapu this summer in Tonga with Chatham’s Pacific Airlines. Tangaloa is the name of the fully restored DC3 aircraft A3-AWP. She re-entered scheduled services in September 2010 after a major restoration project and now (generally) flies the skys above Tongatapu and Ha'apai. I loved the small plane and the incredible views from the window. When I showed this video to my students, they asked me, “Mrs. Rajna, how did you get outside the plane?” I said, “Do I look like a superhero? I was outside the plane?” They said, “Did you open the window?” I said, “I did not open the window on the plane; what is your next idea?” They said the sound is so loud on the video that they figured I had to be outside!! I love seeing all the islands from the sky! This flight is not only transportation it is a flight seeing tour!
