Twitter is no longer the new kid on the block. It's five years old and in online years, that's like a zillion light years. Seriously though, the service is five years old and everyone from your neighbor to Oprah to the guy that lives in the big white house in Washington D.C. are leveraging the social network to communicate, spread messages, meet people, etc.

To celebrate the occasion, the fine folks at Funny or Die created this "documentary" of Twitter's "history."
