L.A.R.P.: Live Avatar Role Playing
This video may be as close as I ever get to actually seeing Avatar. This short mockumentary depicts The Na'vi People of Hometree, Wisconsin, a group dedicated to live-action Avatar role playing.
Mocking the trend—or at least the trend pieces—of people longing for Pandora long after seeing the film, the characters in this video take their love a little bit too far. It's a one-note joke, but it's well executed.
It makes me wonder if there actually are people painting themselves blue and running around in the woods. There are some strange people out there and I probably wouldn't put them…
