In an effort to raise awareness and make particle physics well, fun, scientists at CERN (or the European Organization for Nuclear Research) have created a full-length feature zombie movie and shared it for free on YouTube.

The 75-minute video, called "Decay", took two years for CERN physicists to create in their own time, after hours. The movie draws its plot from close to home — exposure to errant Higgs Boson particles cause scientists at the Large Hadron Collider to undergo zombification, setting upon unexpected victims at the facility.

The movie, which does not have the endorsement of CERN itself, has a variety of in-your-face scares, and plot twists to keep you interested. Oh yeah, and plenty of fake blood. Just don't expect to see a lot of scientific fact in this video.

Production quality? You decide.
