Newscasters Get Raunchy on the Air
Given the polished, uptight façade of most TV newscasters, it's always a joy to watch them screw up royally on the air. These tiny slips are usually minor offenses, but these days they're pretty much guaranteed to find new life on the internet. You can't hide anymore! We're watching you!
Today was a particularly good day in newscaster SNAFUs. First, Meredith Vieira let an "oh shit!" slip on NBC's Today Show while trying out a driving-while-texting simulation. Pretty tame, but worth it to see her surprised reaction afterward.
This one is better, I promise! Apparently milk producers are mad that things like soy milk get to be called "milk"? So when discussing possible alternatives, one Fox News anchor suggests "soy jism" and her co-anchors look suitable speechless. I'm guessing she didn't get read that one off the teleprompter!
