Grown in the City on Urban HomesteadingBuilding off the momentum of the Dervaes urban homesteading trademark controversy, the urban homesteading community has joined together in a second "day of action" to promote the practice of growing, raising, preparing, and preserving your own food in urban spaces.

Members of the "Take Back Urban Homesteading(s) Facebook group," with over 5,500 fans, chose Monday, March 7, to post videos of their urban homesteads on the internet.

The group hopes to raise awareness of urban homesteading, show that it is a lifestyle, and demonstrate that it is a common term that should not be subject to a trademark by one person or company.

You can view all the videos by searching for the Facebook page "Take Back Urban Homesteading(s)."
