There isn't a student alive that hasn't had the uncontrollable urge to yawn during lengthy (sometimes mind-numbingly boring) lessons in class. Although everyone can identify with this feeling, there are probably few that suffered the consequences quite like British teen Holly Thompson of Kingsthorpe, Northampton did.

It seems that poor Holly was in a class on politics when her boredom betrayed her. She yawned, and was unable to close her mouth. Sitting in class with her mouth agape, Holly could hardly even find a way to ask for help with her embarrassing condition.

In the end, it was a hospital visit and a stack of 26 tongue depressors that saved the day.

To all would-be yawners out there, make sure you don't forget your morning cup of coffee, or you just might end up sharing Holly's fate.
