Kids of today have all that, but the documentation of their lives will all be online. I remember passing notes in class behind the teachers’ backs, but our kids will have a record of the text messages sent to friends or copies of chats on Facebook. Rather than having to wait for the 35mm film to get developed, you can instantly see how the picture turned out. Long gone are the days of the “One more picture in case the others don’t turn out!”
I try to keep all this in my now that I am raising kids of my own. Things don’t need to be perfect. All that you really need is love and a very healthy sense of humor.
