Girls Night Out Not So Easy Anymore - Page 2
I’d like to tell that version of myself who was sitting in that chair some things: I’d like to tell her that the concerns that you might be missing out on something may never go away, but soon they’ll be balanced with a shrug. I’m not saying that having a child can ever replace your friends. A girl needs friends. However, I’m positive your friends (the real good ones) will surprise you, too. And while you may not be hanging out with them nearly as often, the time you do spend with them will be better quality and you’ll appreciate it more. You’ll miss the laughter, intimacy, and excitement that nights out with the girls can have. You might miss playing dress up and retelling stories the next day. You’ll miss the freedom of having a limitless curfew and expendable cash. You’ll totally miss the ability to wear heels for an entire night and fit into your Seven jeans.
But, you for sure won’t miss the hangovers.
