Democrat Janice Hahn Responds to Attack Ad With FEC Complaint

California Democrat Janice Hahn says that the attack ad produced by the PAC Right Turn USA was racist and sexist.
The attack ad depicts the current member of LA's city council as a stripper and a demon and was produced by the PAC to paint her as a friend of gang members for supporting a gang prevention program.
Huey had this response, "The ad was not authorized and not affiliated with my campaign." He would later go on to say, "The ad is blatantly racist and sexist and neither racism nor sexism has any place in the public sphere."
Hahn is not entirely convinced that Huey had no prior knowledge or responsibility for the ad and has filed a complaint with the Federal Election Commission to have the ad removed.
In her complaint she notes that the Right Turn USA PAC lists the same address as an official vendor of the Huey campaign, CampaignLA.
The address is associated with a P.O. Box in a Gardena check cashing store.
The two will be facing off in the July 12 run-off election for the Congressional seat for California's 36th District.
DCCC executive director Robby Mook is hoping to raise an additional $150,000 for the campaign from the voter outrage over the attack ad.
