Don't let Money Frustrations Stop You
Sometimes life is just frustrating. There is no way around it unless maybe you hide in a hole and don’t come out. This can encompass everything from your diet, your kids all the way to your finances.
Today was one of those frustrating days for me with finances. We have had a lot of activity with our finances that have to do with our recent move. The typical fun, sell house, buy house, open new checking, etc. Today it seemed that everything that I touched was complicated!
I had to go to the credit union two times to try and get a signature guarantee and still did not get it. To make matters worse the gentleman at the credit union that I was dealing with, was not nice. All just to change the bank account associated with my mutual fund. As it stands now, I shredded the paperwork and will leave the existing checking account open for a while longer till I regain the energy to try again.
Add on to that the future mortgage company wanted even more information. My poor scanner is tired. I get why they need all the documentation. I know that bad processing had to do with some of our housing issues. But, I feel like I have been scanning for decades!
Now on the good side, canceling my old mortgage automatic payment was VERY easy! Yahh for Bank of the West!
What I got to thinking after leaving the credit union is that these one at a time are not bad. They are also not bad if it was just these, but through on top a helping of regular life and it can be beyond frustrating (today also included going to the dentist, the post office, my son waking up with a tummy ache and a bunch of other errands). It becomes very easy to just stop paying attention to your finances.Continued on the next page
