So parents, I implore you, don't believe more homework equals better schools. Don't insist on more and start praising the schools taking the tactic of reducing homework. Battling over monotonous worksheets are likely not going to get your child into Harvard, not matter what Tiger Mom says. Reading, talking or writing about what they've read or heard, special projects to help your child explore his or her interests and passions, that's the only homework I'd like to see.
