House Bans Federal Funding of Abortion Training - Page 2
Although the Foxx Amendment is likely to die in the Democratically-controlled Senate, such an amendment would set up dangerous circumstances for women in the future. Without trained health professionals who know how to perform an abortion safely and correctly, women seeking an abortion would end up undergoing the procedure in underground and unregulated situations.
