How to Avoid Overeating During a Cheat Meal
You've been doing so well the entire week, but it's Saturday already and the craving for something heavy has been building up in your brain for the past 6 days.
It's time for that one cheat meal you've decided to allow yourself to have, once per week.
The problem is, in the past you've completely lost control and eaten way too much during those meals. Perhaps you've managed to ruin a few days worth of dieting in one sitting!
Here is a solution to that problem. If you follow this blueprint then you will be able to avoid overeating and ruining your progress during your cheat meal.

How to Avoid Overeating During a Cheat Meal
First things first. You need two things to accomplish this:
- An apple (medium or large).
- A glass of water along with resources to refill that glass a few times.
I'm going to assume that your cheat meal is pizza. It can be any other fast food item, candy, ice cream or whatever it is that you prefer.
Step 1: About 15-20 minutes before you eat the pizza, eat your apple. If you're going to pick up the pizza yourself, then eating the apple in the car on the way there might be a good idea.
Step 2: Drink a full glass of water with each slice. Never, ever reach for another slice without finishing and refilling your glass of water.
If your cheat meal is something other than a pizza, then just replace "slice" with a portion that you imagine is similar in caloric value to a single slice of pizza.
