How to Reduce Wrinkles

Smooth, wrinkle free skin is a sign of youth and vitality and is greatly desired by millions of people worldwide. It can be challenging to completely erase wrinkles once they have been etched in your skinYouthful Skin but with the right products you can dramatically reduce them.  

Exfoliation should be performed 2 to 3 times a week to remove dead skin cells and to stimulate faster cell renewal. As you exfoliate the dead cells from the surface of your skin new healthy cells move up to take their place, revealing healthier and more radiant skin. Regular exfoliation also clears the way for other products to penetrate more easily and increases their effectiveness.  

Skin care products containing wrinkle reducing ingredients such as vitamin A (retinol), peptides, growth factors, and vitamin C have been shown to stimulate collagen and elastin while reducing the depth of wrinkles. Using these ingredients consistently will help to diminish wrinkles and make them much less noticeable.  

Red light therapy devices, such as the DPL Light, have science backing them and have been shown to drastically improve the appearance of your skin. The LED lights penetrate deeply into the layers of your skin healing, repairing, and stimulating your collagen, elastin, skin tissue, and cells.  

Antioxidant rich foods such as fruits, vegetables, nuts, seeds, and beans help protect your cells from free radicals. Free radicals attack and damage your skin cells prompting wrinkles and rough skin. By consuming plenty of antioxidant rich sources your cells will be well protected. 

Sunscreen won't diminish wrinkles but it will help prevent the sun from damaging your skin any further.  As you reduce and diminish your current wrinkles, you will need to protect them from harmful sun exposure.  It's important to include sunscreen in your daily skin care routine even on those cloudy days.  

Showing signs of getting older can be frustrating but with consistency and patience you can look years younger. By taking care of yourself both internally and externally your skin will radiate health and your wrinkles will diminish and fade.
