There's Something About Elmo - Page 2
After Elmo ate a few Cheerios it was time for daycare. On the drive, Tyler appeared very upset about Elmo's care while he was away. "Elmo...eating." I said, "Don't worry honey, if Elmo is hungry or thirsty, Mama will give him something. Maybe he can have one of the burritos in the freezer because I haven't gone grocery shopping yet. Or, maybe he'll go grocery shopping with me." The only thing that seemed to console Tyler was when his teacher started to read an Elmo book to him.
When I got home, I asked Elmo if he could explain his popularity. Elmo wasn't talking. He just looked at me, mouth gaped open.
Later I heard him saying, "Elmo wants...yogurt!" "All right, Elmo, it's coming," I said.
Face it, it is Elmo's World. We all just live in it.
