Nothing says glam like metallics! And silver leads the way when it comes to dazzling eye makeup. Ready to kick off the New Year with some sparkle, gals? Here’s a quick and easy guide…

How-to: First apply a “primer” to eyelids (such as Make Up For Ever Eye Seal). Then apply eyeliner style of choice (I love the liquid liner cat-eye look, as seen in the photo). Next apply a darker silver shadow to the main area of your lids. Then apply a lighter silver shade over the darker shade (to create that “bright” silver shimmer look). Also apply the lighter silver color just below the brows and also dust a bit of the lighter silver color on inner corners of eyes (this will make eyes “pop”). Finish by applying mascara. (Tip: since the silver eye makeup will be the main star, wear a nude peach or pink lip color.)
